I have thoes events in system log about failds
regestration and DNS refused. I could not add or remove DC
from the domain. My questions are:
1.How Can I resolve thoes problems?
2.What is the best and secure way to remove and rebuild
DNS from Active directory? What, if, I should backup
Thanks

Using your ISP's DNS in your NICs TCP/IP properties is the first culprit I
look for. You should make sure all DC's, Clients and Member servers are
using your internal DNS server ONLY.

How did you figure out that FR=1 parameter Kevin?

Looks like a "no frames" parameter.
Probably based on an older client (browser version) doing the original
search?

There used to be a printable version link and I had some of those set as
favorites. Now, Microsoft has a print the contents of this page link but the
&FR=1 still works to get to the printable version. I have a text file for
the most used articles I just add the &FR=1
The main reason I use it is I have one server with a low resolution monitor,
getting rid of the image headers and footers make those articles easier to
read by getting rid of the extra "junk" on the page.

I'll tell you how I will use it. I save knowledge base articles as mht files. But there are htc files that do not download and they have a security issue so that I usually get "an error has occurred in this page" when I save them as mht files. It is an Access denied error. I believe your little trick will solve that issue I have been putting up with for a year or more. Thanks for that Kevin.
