Event Viewer

XP updated. I've been having random restart issues (microsoft error report
says device drive). I checked Event Viewer and found the time recorded is not
sequential. Some entries are 1 minute different then the sequence continues.
I have a screenshot.

run DEVMGMT.MSC to see what device might be having a driver problem.

Restarting is sure to be a bad driver or some kind of broken hardware.

My guess would be the hard drive is failing.

Thanks Mark
In device manager there was no problems. I did have trouble with the
Framework updates.
Bitdefender (virus protection) does cause a restart on scanning. Their tech
support isn't sure whats going on. The HDD is a Seagate 40g 2001 vintage.
This is a new install, I havn't invested much effort/time. I'll go with a new
HDD.
