event viewer will not log new event anymore

Win2k terminal server with SP4, Netshiels 4.5 is running
and updated

System and security logs stop log new events. Any help
will be greatly appreciated

Possibly the event logs may be corrupt. See the link below for info on that.
Also check the Local Security Policy on that server for "effective setttings" to
make sure that auditing is still enabled. --- Steve
