I have a DC in win2000 domain and lately i see errors in
the application event viewer log.
The error is:

7/26/2003 9:48:09 AM Userenv Error None
1000 NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM MAIL Windows
cannot determine the user or computer name. Return value
(14).

The error is repeated every 5 minutes.

Please help ASAP.
Thank you in advance.

First check that you can access your sysvol share with \\iba.com.eg\sysvol and that you can browse to that registry.pol file. Error 0x2474 = An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient Buffer space or because a queue was full.
Can you specify your hardware specifications and software that is running on your system ?

The problem is, that NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM MAIL can not access that registry
information. the strange thing is, that SYSTEM MAIL account is not a common
account on Windows systems (SYSTEM is).
