Event Viewer Doesn't Display

All,

I have w2k as file server.
Since 2 days ago I cannot get access to event viewer, services or
anything for that matter in administrative tools
I right click My Computer and select properties and it is missing the
Nework Identification tab.

Only way I can see it now is by going to another computer and do
connect to another computer and select the pc i want to check on.

Maybe corrupt logs?

Steve,

When I select my computer right click manage I dont get anything not
ever eror message

ANy other ideas?
 
I was missing a .dll I found the dll by google and placed the system
folder and it works.
