Event Viewer Clock <> System Clock...?

Howdy,

I just had an error, wanted more detail, and look at the
Event Viewer.

Then I noticed that the times shown there were four hours
later than the time shown on the system clock.

Why might that be?

Those times are recorded in GMT.

Check your time zone settings in control panel (and daylight savings time
settings).

Hi Rich,

I am Eastern US (GMT-5) but what displays in the event log
is my time +4 hours.

I will add that my system time is correct.

Any other thoughts?
