Event id errors for DNS

The client still connects to the server and has net access but I get several
errors in the event viewer relating to DNS. The error 4011 repeats it's self
several time before the system stops it to keep from clogging the log. The
work around found in knowledge base won't work for this network as I only
have one DC. Does anybody have any suggestions? This error I wonder if would
be responsible for slow name resolution of net sites.

Do you have "Allow dynamic updates" set to "Yes"
Post the ipconfig /all from the DC so we can get started diagnosing the
problem.
What are the other events being logged?

Thanks for the ipconfig, the 4011 is the gc registration error, 3000 is a
run time error due to the 4011s, I guess you knew this. I would need to see
the exact error from the 4011s. The GC record is only registered in the
Forrest Root zone, and I think I've asked this before but I cannot remember
if you asnswered, is Main.NO-X-QUS.COM the forrest root or is NO-X-QUS.COM
the forrest root?
In ADU&C what is the domain name?

The DNS server was unable to add or write an update of domain name _ldap in zone main.no-x-qus.com to the Active Directory. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly and add or update this domain name using the DNS console. The event data contains the error.

The DNS server is logging numerous run-time events. For information about these events, see previous DNS Server event log entries. To prevent the DNS Server from clogging server logs, further logging of this event and other events with higher Event IDs will now be suppressed.

Where it states event data contains error do you want the code listed there??

It shows Main as the domain in network places. You have to forgive me but I not sure what is meant by forest root. This is the only server on the network. What is ADU&C??

: It shows Main as the domain in network places.

Then, Main is the NetBIOS name of your domain, ADU&C will show the DNS name.

Active Directory Users and Computers (ADU&C). Forrest root will be the first
Active Directory Domain, from there you have domain trees in the forest,
this is your first AD Domain so it is the Forrest Root, from there you can
have a new domain tree in the forest, or new domain in an existing tree and
so on.
That being said, on your zone properties, General Tab is "Allow Dynamic
updates" set to "No", "Yes" or "Only secure updates" If it is secure only or
No or Secure Only change it to Yes to see if it registers. If it is secure
and changing it to yes lets the registration happen, then it could be a
permissions problem on the zone. First let's see if this setting is correct.

If you are talking about the general tab in DNS forward properties it is set
to (yes) allow dynamic updates. I checked everything in Active directory and
couldn't find anything of that type there.

Please clarify, you couldn't find anything of what type?

Can you open your forward lookup zone expand all sub zones, take a screen
shot and email it to me. Don't forget to remove the nospam from my address.

I looked all through active directory for a property sheet with the
selection allow dynamic updates.

To enable Dynamic Updates, go into your DNS console, drill down until you
see your zone name "Main.NO-X-QUS.COM", rt-click, properties, under the
General Tab, there is a section in the middle that says Dynamic Updates, in
the drop down box, select either Yes or if it's a domain controller, you'll
also see another option called "Secure Updates Only". Either way, just
select "Yes" for now and see if that helps.
