Hi All

I am constantly logging this error in my Event Viewer.

Source: DNS
Event Id: 6534
Description: Failed transfer to zone xxxxx.com from DNS
server at xxx.xxx.xx.xxx. The DNS server at
xxx.xxx.xx.xxx aborted or failed to complete transfer of
the zone. Check the DNS server at xxx.xxx.xx.xx and
ensure it is functioning properly and authoritative for
zone xxxxx.com.

I have a Standard Primary and a Secondary zone created on
my Windows 2000 Server. I have the Secodary zone created
because I have a WAN connection setup between myself and
my remote office. Within the error it states that I
should check the servers at the remote location.

What would cause this error and what must I do to get rid
of it

Check the zone properties of the primary DNS zone and make sure you have
allowed zone transfers to the IP of the server with the secondary zone.
