Hi there
I'm having a problem with one of my servers all of a
sudden, where users cannot connect to it. On checking the
system event log I find the following errors, Event IDs
5788 and 5789 both ending with the following error: "There
are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper."
My environment consist of three Windows 2000 AD
controllers, Windows 2000 cluster, NT4 and 2000 member
servers. The server that is having this problem is one of
the Windows 2000 member servers. All the servers are on
the same IP subnet without firewalls in between them. None
of the other servers are having this problem.
The domain has been upgraded from Windows NT4 and
everything has been running fine for the past 3 weeks,
until this happend.
I have been unable to find any KB documentation on this
specific problem.
Has anyone experienced this?
Kind regards
Witek
