Hello,

I keep getting this Event ID#5783 on <server1> which is running Windows
2000 Server Spk3, clustered, and can't be updated to spk4.

The session setup to the Windows NT or Windows 2000 Domain Controller
<DC> for the domain <domain name> is not responsive.
The current RPC call from Netlogon on <server1> to <DC server name> has
been
cancelled.

I checked the backups and Anti-Virus no errors there. Also, I ran the
dcdiag /test:registerindns /dnsdomain and received no errors.

Can this error cause a cluster to fail? Because I get this Event
ID#1055 "Cluster File Share resource 'File Share (A)' has failed a
status check. The error code is 64." right after Event ID#5783.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike

Cause
The source server listed in the error message was unable to complete a
remote procedure call (RPC) call to the destination server. Most
commonly, this means that either the source server could not locate the
server in DNS or the RPC interface on the destination server is not
working.

Solution
If the source server could not locate the server in DNS, troubleshoot
Active Directory replication failure due to incorrect DNS
configuration.

If this is not a DNS problem, troubleshoot RPC problems.

Than might not help, but maybe you can make something out of it.
