Event ID 3152 - Help!

We get the following error on a Windows 2000 Domain Controller running
DNS:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: DNS
Event Category: None
Event ID: 3152
Date: 08/12/2004
Time: 09:07:48
User: N/A
Computer: DC
Description:
The DNS server was unable to open file dns\dns.log for write. Most
likely the file is a zone file that is already open. Close the zone
file and re-initiate zone write.
Data:
0000: 20 00 00 00

The DNS service also fails intermittently with no errors recorded in
the event logs. Anybody got any ideas for a stressed out IT guy?!
