User is using Windows XP SP1.

When logging in, he receives message this message :
Your terminal services tmeporary client license will
expire...

Do I need to contact Microsoft to receive more licenses or
does the operating system generate the license?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are connecting to a 2003 server then you don't have enough licenses
available and need to purchase some and install them on the License server.

If you are using 2000 the client should already have an OS equivalency
license and you have something else going on.

Yes, we are using Windows 2000 not 2003.

Thanks JWB, see what happens.

The Terminal server is not able to find a license
server. When you have a w2k TS and w2k /xp clients you
dont have to purchase licenses but the TS still has to be
able to contact a license server. Use the following reg
key ( better with the IP) and you should be fixed up
