In my Home Office, I use a Peer-to-Peer network and my HP Kayak xu800
Workstation running Windows 2000 Professional is showing the Event Warning
below.

Event Source: PlugPlayManager

Event Category: None

Event ID: 256

Date: 22/04/2004

Time: 10:00:59

User: N/A

Computer: KAYAK-E6035

Description:

Timed out sending notification of device interface change to window of ""



I can not find any specific help in resolving the problem; can anyone
suggest how I can find the source of the problem and fix it?

Thank you for replying to my request, the problem causing EventID: 256, a
Linksys Router "BEFDSR41".



For reasons I cannot remember, I had disabled its P-n-P.



Now fixed, many thanks David.
