I had my primary DC go down a few weeks ago. I had to seize fsm
control from this DC using ntdsutil and it all was a success. Wel
after the replacement was up for about a week, it began to hav
problems that made any service that it provided (Web, Printer an
Database seem to be the hardest hit). No one could print to the serve
shared printer, no one could visit the site it hosted and that seeme
to snowball. All of the admin tools like "Active Directory Users an
Computers" and "DNS" couldn't write back to the directory so
rebooted. After the reboot, all is well for about another week an
then it freaks out again. I ran "dcdiag" and it passed everything an
I later ran "netdiag" and it too passed all tests. I also ra
"ntfrsutl ds" and attached is the log. I have some (null) reference
in the output and I'm not sure where to fix these. I have followe
countless links online but I still can't get the (null) references t
go away and I'm sure that once I do, the problems will stop. Coul
