Event ID 1265 Help???

I'm getting Event ID 1265. I've looked at everythign I
can find on this event and nothing pertains to my
situation.
I have one domain.
here is the event from the log
The attempt to establish a replication link with
parameters

Partition: CN=Configuration,DC=local,DC=mydomain,DC=com
Source DSA DN: CN=NTDS Settings,CN=DELL-
EX5,CN=Servers,CN=Default-First-Site-
Name,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=local,DC=mydomain,DC=com
Source DSA Address: 17fed695-85e8-4a5d-9d5e-
f52f20f0b6b8._msdcs.local.mydomain.com
Inter-site Transport (if any):

failed with the following status:

The DSA operation is unable to proceed because of a DNS
lookup failure.

The record data is the status code. This operation will
be retried.

Hi Deji...

Just to add, my intial thought is the machine has an external DNS (such as
the ISP's) listed in it's properties.
