event id 1015 having promoted a server to DC

During the promotion to become a DC I get the error that shortcut updates
could not be made to the administrative tool due to a problem with windows
installer

The eventviewer tells me this :

Description:
Failed to connect to server. Error: 0x80040154

The server is a W2K server with Mcafee Virusscan installed nothing else
 
This costs money can you provide me with the info ??

Anyway I solved the problem by upgrading to version 3.0
