Does anyone know how I can get a hotfix from Microsoft
without paying for it first?
There is a fix for the error posted on support site but
they need me to call them through support.
Article No. 819716

Hello All,

All hotfixes from Microsoft are free. You do have to call in and request it
however.

I thought there was a charge for calling MS support?

You don't have to pay for a hotfix. Just call PSS and ask about this hotfix
with that number. They will ask you for a emailaddress and send you a link.
