Event ID 1000 & 1001 every 10 seconds

I'm getting both of these every 10 seconds.

Unable to collect the FTP performance statistics.
The error code returned by the service is data DWORD 0.

Unable to read the first counter index value from the
registry The error code returned by the registry is data
DWORD 0.

Dan,

Do we have the FTP service installed and if so is it started? I ask because based on the information you provided it
sounds like the FTP counter library for Performance Monitor is giving us errors. If need the FTP service running we should
try running the following commands.

unlodctr msftpsvc

lodctr ftpctrs.ini

The first command will unload the Performance Monitor counters for the FTP service and the second command will load
them again. Once reloaded you will need to restart the system for the change to take affect.
