Is the 1030/1058 happening to both DC's?

Does rebooting the DC solve this problem even temporarily?

Pete

Well that rules out a lot of things. Assuming dcdiag doesn't show any
problems, and you said you checked your dns (srv records and such), I don't
know of anything else. I have one dc that does this occasionally, but
rebooting fixes the problem for a while. I would be interested in what you
find out.

Hi,
you can try this:
Start regedit on the domaincontrollers:
HKLM\system\currentControlSet\services\lanmanserver\parameters
\requiresecuritysignature, set it to 0.

Ok....you say SRV records you meaning like finger_ , kpasswd and such...or
just my A records and such?

ok...i did the dcdiag and this is what is failing.......any ideas...i did a
google search for it ti returned nothing!!

Starting test: frsevent
There are warning or error events within the last 24 hours after the
SYSVOL has been shared. Failing SYSVOL replication problems may cause
Group Policy problems.
......................... KID1 failed test frsevent

KID is Key ID
frsevent is File Replication Service Event.

I don't have anything definitive. I'll look into it !
