Event Err

Win2k sp4
Event Mngr shows the following err
'The Device \Device\Scsi\si3113r1, did not respond within the timeout
period'
I realise it refers to my onboard raid controler/driver
I use raid 1, the raid utility reports all OK
Can some one advise on what this means.

It probably means that the one of the drives is on the verge of dying.
It's a good idea to run a good disk diagnostic program on each drive and see
if it shows any problems.
 
Disk diag.utility, run over several loops, shows both disks OK
There is no correlation between a reboot and the event err.
Doesnt appear to be any correlation with writing data
