Situation... Windows 2000 Domain... two print servers (one a W2K
workstation, the other a W2K server). The problematic printer is a
brand new HP Color LaserJet 5550DN.
Print jobs sent to the workstation print fine. But Domain User's can't
print to the W2K Server. Since Domain Admins can print to the W2K
server, it seems to be a permissions issue, but not sure where to go.
I found one post that said to add Domain User permissions to the
\\winnt\system32\spool folder, but that has not resolved the issue.
Here are the details in the event log... "The document Test Page owned
by xxxxxxx failed to print on printer HP Color LaserJet 5550DN PCL 6.
Data type: NT EMF 1.008. Size of the spool file in bytes: 82396. Number
of bytes printed: 0. Total number of pages in the document: 1. Number
of pages printed: 0. Client machine: \\172.16.1.127. Win32 error code
returned by the print processor: 126."
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
