Hi,
I am getting literally hundreds of event 565 a minute in the security event
log. The events are all stating directory service access sucess.
The thing is, I have checked and I have all sucessfull directory access
auditing turned off: at domain controller, domain and local levels, but I
still get the informational message in the security log. The events are
occuring on one domain controller in our native Windows 2000 domain.
I know the events are caused by our management software (TNT Software Event
Log Manager) querying AD, but what I don't understand is why I am getting
the informational messages when I have auditing turned off for directory
access.
Has anyone any idea?
Cheers,
Kenny
