After establishing a cross foreset trust we are getting thousands of event
22 logged in our DNS forest from clients in the other forest.

Is there a way to stop these being logged

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: W32Time
Event Category: None
Event ID: 22
Date: 21/12/2005
Time: 12:56:06
User: N/A
Computer: DNS1

The time provider NtpServer encountered an error while digitally signing the

Paul,

The DCs do have a relaible time source. I think the problem is that the
clients do not belong to either forest. They are all standalone workgroup
PCs which log onto Exchange in Forest 1 via MAPI. The events are logged on
the DCs in forest 2 because they cannot give the time to untrsuted clients.
I would just like to disable the events from being logged or be able to
allow the DCs in Forest 2 to issue unsigned time.

Regards,

Gerry

That puts a whole different light on it. I don't think there is a way to
stop the event logging.
