European police car warble sound from PC after installing PNY 6200 graphics card. Why?

I installed the card and everything works fine but from pc turnon
until the Windows logon screen, I get a warble tone from pc.
I can't find any reference in reading the troubleshooting section of
the mainboard (ABIT KV8pro) or graphics card manual that accounts for
that.

Overheating motherboard?
Can you check temps in the BIOS?

Turn off pc. Remove graphics card. FIRMLY reseat graphics card. If that
doesn't help, try clearing CMOS and loading default settings. -Dave
