"There are two areas where Eurocom cannot compete with other systems on the market so let's get them out of the way now. First up we have portability... this is not a portable system. Can we take it on the move? Yes. But it is massive and very heavy, then with battery life on any normal task being just over an hour there isn't much scope for doing things on the move. Secondly we have pricing... this system with the entry level Xeon and single 680M starts at £2499/$3699. The 780M cost just a little more and is well worth it but past that things get very expensive, very fast.
...
Where the system excels is the raw performance. This is a system which sits right at the top of the "mobile" performance arena for productivity and gaming tasks. Essentially it takes a significant spec of desktop system to compete with the Eurocom 5D and for those looking to maximise their content creation speed or framerate this is as good as it gets for this form factor."
