what procedure should someone trying to decline a End-User
Liscense Agreement follow with microsoft products
including Windows XP, Office, and Works.

one theory, is to somehow document the steps taken after
recieving the product, and then send the media, and
documentation to microsoft public relations or something,
but I haven't been able to find a ruleset that is
perfectly explicit for the Microsoft Corperation
specificaly.

All you do is send the software, along with a copy of the
sales receipt, to Microsoft. This must be done within 30 days
of purchase and is applicable only to "retail versions". Enclose
a brief letter explaining your problem and why you want a refund.
