Eudora is adware unless you are using a version 3.0.6 or older. Thus

Actually, it has three modes, including a "light" version without ads.
What you don't get with the light version are (from the Eudora help

It's up to the user to decide if the light version includes enough
features to warrant a look.

None of which changes the fact that Splinky/Cold Cast Mold/mort/doo
