eTrust r7 v. EZ?

eTrust r7 frequently and automatically fetches a new
signature file. This works well for a networked computer,
but for a slow dial-up it's a nuisance. Does EZ behave the
same way?

There is no point in installing an anti-virus product that you intend never
to keep up to date.

It's possible to configure EZAV not to update automatically. It's also
possible to establish an update schedule and have it automatically
connect to the Internet if you're not already online.
