Is anyone familiar with eTrust EZ Armor? This is a free
anti-virus/firewall package from Computer Associates.

Free for a year anyway. It's not the best AV one could use but
certainly not the worst either.

I think I should take offense at that (G), but can't be bothered. Too
many of those types on here recently!!

Anyway......I have used EZ Trust for years and like it. The firewall is
a recent addition and is a slightly disguised Zone Alarm.......but I am
not sure which version it is of ZA and would be interested in knowing
that point. (Versions 3.xxx muck up system restore on WinME, that is
why)

The version in etrust is "3.7.179", which seems to be similar to the
numbering system for Zone Alarm. I'm trying to find the latest issue
number of Zone Alarm. I pretty sure that Zone Alarm is in the range of
"3.7.xxx".

the number is 4.5.530 for both free and pro.

Thanks Nemo.........that is what I was afraid of. That version mucks up
auto system restore points in WinME. I appreciate your letting me know.
I will just stick with EZ trust antivirus and my older version of ZA.

Cheers......Heather
