Ian

I'm using eTrust 7 AV. I've installed the Alert Manager on my eTrust
7 Server and configured it to send email alerts to my email account.
I tested the setup by sending a Test Alert from Alert Manager and this
works fine.

I've also deployed an Alert Policy to some of my Branches. The Alert
Policy is configured to report alerts to the eTrust 7 Server, the
eTrust 7 Server is configured to send alerts to the Local Alert
Manager. But I never recieve any alerts.

If anyone has anything I can try to do to get this working please let
me know.

Thanks for you help,

Ian

You paid for it, why wouldn't EZ provide assistance? They have
always answered my questions when Sammy is no help to me.

Thanks for your reply BoB. I tried CA Technical Support, but they
weren't to much help. They told me how to configure it, but I had
already done that. So I thought I'd ask a bigger group of people.

Thanks again,
Ian

Bummer. Have you uninstalled EZ7 and tried a fresh install?

If all else fails, another option is to use free Avast on the
non-working machines. I'm running EZ as the primary realtime AV
on my computer and Avast as the primary realtime on the wife's
computer as a test. I'm happy with both. I actually have both on
each computer as backups for each other. They get along fine. I
can manual scan with either and download updates for the backups
without shutting down the primary.
