Etrust 7.1 Experiences Anyone?

I have a sales evaluation demo CD from CA for Etrust 7.1. I installed the
product and then did a push install to three computers, one of which refused
to boot after the installation. This does not inspire confidence. I have
talked with CA tech support and they were just about clueless. All off this
has convinced me we really don't want to buy etrust 7.1, but this has been
such a disaster that I'm thinking this can't be a typical experience.

I would really like to hear of any other experiences with 7.1.

Just in the process of transferring progs and data to my new computer, but I
will say that I had a lot of trouble with version 7.0.7.7. since I updated
to that one (on this WinME computer). I have used it for at least 5 years,
from back when it was the free InoculateIT PE.......this is the FIRST time I
have had it fail to update (many times), citing Error #3 which I could not
find on their website.

Before I go online with XP, I will probably put that one on for now.....but
if the problems persist, will switch to AVG or Avast. This was the free
trial version, btw. Used that last year, but paid for updates for 3 years
before that.

LOL.....laughing at David's comment!! Yes, I am in the process of setting
it all up. Just got online a short while ago, but couldn't get to the news
groups.

As I told Dave, Willy built this with the most *wild* case.....black and
silver with blue lights glowing....grin. He said people would think it was
my grandson's........SMACK!!

I shall mosey on over to the WinME groups and tell them I am now not only in
the 21st century, but have now become 18 years old.....lol.
