Ethernet Header Problem

Hello,

I was doing some sniffing of my packets this afternoon and noticed that the
Ethernet Header destination and source off any packets coming from outside
my network are not the same as the IP Header information in each packet. Am
I in trouble here? The Ethernet Header information is always the same, but
the IP Header is not. This does not seem right...

Any help would be appreciated, I'm more of a server than network guy.

What problem? Ethernet headers show the the last router,
firewall or gateway it came through: This layer knows
nothing beyond its own little LAN.
