Ethereal 0.10.5 released - Wednesday, July 7, 2004

This release fixes bugs in iSNS, SMB, and SNMP, as described in the most
recent application advisory. Everyone is encouraged to upgrade.

It's Pricelessware :)

Seems not to be free of bugs though :-

With Windows 98se I get invalid page fault in msvcrt.dll.
Judging by their mail-lists XP seems to be mostly ok.

However you need to change and save the prefs to
prevent a invalid window size message appearing.
There are also some probs with fonts if you install
the GTK-Wimp option.

Geez, sounds like an alpha to me all right. I'll hold off on it.

Since all my probs relate to the new GUI, I just tried
reinstalling 10.5a using the "legacy" option.

So far all working fine. :)
