Estimate worksheet

Anyone have an idea on how to accomplish this idea I have for a estimate
worksheet.

On the left column I would like to have a drop down menu available to select
the device and over further a few columns over I would like to have 6
columns of data enter automatically with the device. This way I can custom
build my estimate but I dont have to input all of my price data and man
power data. I would imagine I have to do this the first time in a other
worksheet and that is fine but for the estimate I would just like to be able
to select the system or device and all of the info auto fill for me. Any
ideas?

Vlookup sounds like it will work for this, and yes you'll have to do this
the first time on another worksheet- the device in 1 column, the next column
the man costs, next column the material cost etc. then when a certain device
is selected in your formula worksheet, it will lookup the device on your
other worksheet and bring all that information over.
 
For the dropdown menu you can use Data>Validation with the device list on the second sheet as source data.
