What problem are you experiencing when trying to print? What is happening?
Is the printer installed correctly? Will it print a test page? Is it
turned on? Do the cartridges have sufficient ink? When was the last time
it worked correctly? Is this a clean (new) install of XP or an upgrade
installation from an older operating system?
The problem is definitely the Dummy Docs. Go to the nearest corner store and
purchase a couple of boxes or bags of "Smarties". Eat two every 15 minutes
until they are all gone. Now go home and post the following information:
What application are you using to print? Have you ever been able to print
anything successfully using this application? Have you been able to print
successfully from any application? Is the printer on the list when you
navigate to Control Panel Printers and faxes? Can you recall making any
change to the system between the time you could print-if you ever could-and
when it stopped printing? If you navigate to Start All programs
accessories system tools system restore, restore my computer to an
earlier time, are there any restore points listed?
OK. I kid you a bit but we really need more information to be able to help.
