[SVCHOST.exe process in capital letters]
I managed to avoid the blaster worm, but have been
noticing strange behaviour lately on my win2KPro machine.
After startup, in the task manager / processes list are a
number of 'svchost.exe' processes, as normal (u can't end
task them) but always a single 'SVCHOST.exe' (ie in CAPS
when the others are not) and this one CAN be ENDED, which
i have been tending to do lately.
If i leave it running, i seem to get strange access to the
internet on my 52K (unusual or unwarranted activity,
system lags) - it seems to not happen if i kill this
process.
I really don't know if something scary is going on - its
messing with my head. Any advice would be greatly
appreciated.
