Usually "errors" that the user sees are reports of something that is wrong.
The course of action is to fix the errors. That may involve deleting but in
many cases it does not. If you post more specific information about errors
you encounter, someone may be able to help you to resolve them.

Because you have a number ("178 errors"), I'm inclined to think that you're
using one of those "pc fix it" tools. Be aware that these programs often
make mistakes - have been known to identify something as an error that is
not.

hello
i need help on this error 5004.183
can somebody please help me

This error happens when you're doing what in which program?

A search on google turns up nothing except a thread from an Italian
newsgroup that references a VB runtime error with Norton Internet Security
2005. In general, "VB runtime" is a reference to a common set of
instructions based on Visual Basic. Programs access these instructions to
perform their operations. If they utilize the runtime incorrectly or the
program runs into a spot where there is no handling for the error type -
the result is an error message.

In other words, the fix normally comes from the program vendor of the
application. Usually in the form of a program update. Using the thread
found by Google as an example, one would look to Symantec for more
information on the error and/or an update that resolves the error
condition.

NOTE: Once in a great while there will be a VB runtime update but that is
not as common since the runtimes tend to be quite solid and reliable.
