Hi,
Im trying to capture a movie from my JVC DV Camera through USB and
when im trying to capture i go to the capture wizard I select my camera
choose the name and then when i get to video setting page in the wizard i
click next and always get the error message 'An interface has too many
methods to fire events from' and then when i try clicking next again i get a
message saying 'the video device is currently in use' or 'unspecified error'
and then when i close the wizard i get a message saying 'the video device can
not be used at the time because there has been an error when starting the
device'.

I am desperate to edit this video as soon as possible and I continously get
these messages, i would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me.

Thank you,
josh

Movie Maker works with a firewire connection between the computer and
digital camcorder, not a USB connection.

.... and the '.... interface...' message is typical when trying to import an
MPEG-2 file.... the firewire connection would be a DV-AVI file, not an
MPEG-2.
