Errors opening recurrent meetings in Outlook 2003

I am seeing a problem opening recurring meetings in my Outlook 2003
Calendar. I have been working fine for months and it just recently began. I
will advise this install was an upgrade, not a clean install, from Outlook
XP.

Basically I am entering my calendar and attempting to view/edit meetings
that I have established.

When I attempt to open or respond to a recurring appointment in my calendar
I get errors:

"Can't open this item. The operation failed" or "Cannot read one instance of
this recurring appointment".

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I think perhaps the only solution
would be a wipe of the Office install and a reinstallation clean. Trying to
avoid that so please respond with any ideas!

Thanks!

I have a similar problem. When I try to drag a recurring
meeting to a different time, I receive an error Cannot
read (or move I think) one instance of this recurring
appointment".

Close Outlook - find and rename frmcache.dat to old and see if that helps.

I have been having the same problem. Outlook 2003, SP1. Deleting
frmcache.dat worked for me.
