Errors.log File Unmanageable

We have been running the AntiSpyware software on a couple
of servers at the office. Recently, we began experiencing
disk space issues. We traced the issue back to the
errors.log file that gets created. It was several GBs in
size on both servers.

We looked at all the software settings and could find no
place to change the behavior of the errors.log file. Does
this file just grow as long as there is disk space and
never roll itself over?

The AntiSpyware software has been uninstalled from our
servers until this issue can be resolved. Thanks!

FWIW, the solution you've chosen is the same one I've chosen, in similar
circumstances.

I think the file grows until it hits 4 gigs on an NTFS partition with enough
space available.

Yes, its a known problem with the error log, the best you can do in the mean
time is to, disable Microsoft AntiSpyware in the notification area, right
click the bulls eye > shut down Microsoft AntiSpyware. Navigate to
c:\program files\Microsoft AntiSpyware and delete the error log then restart
the computer.

does not support multiple user account and limited
account at this version of MSAS, i think this is the
reason why the error.log get larger and it might also be
cause by shutting down MSAS frequently.
