Hello,
I've got a problem with Microsoft Anispyware ver 1.0.509
just discovered that file "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
AntiSpyware\errors.log" have size 3G
erased it and it still growing very fast around 1M/min.

It filled with messages similar messages:
91::ln 0:Object variable or With block variable not
set::gcasDtServ:modAgentsDataStore:IsDirty::31.03.2005 15:37:23:1.0.509
....
91::ln 0:Object variable or With block variable not
set::gcasDtServ:modAgentsDataStore:SaveData::31.03.2005 15:51:15:1.0.509

How to disable that log file ?

Regards,
Sergey.

Hi

You can not disable this log file.

Try this:

- Restart in safe mode and perform full scan

- Delete errors.log

- Restart, check your errors.log again if it grows.

Also send the errors.log in c:\program files\microsoft antispyware to
(e-mail address removed)

And just to reiterate what I've posted before to Andre and now sent by
mail:

Microsoft is interested in ERRORS.LOG files from users who are experiencing
error 101, 102, or 103. Please submit files only in that circumstance.

Hi..I was just sifting through newsgroup..I had same
problem and log was growing like the devil by the second
repeating same crap over and over. Was too big for
notepad so I deleted it and watched it grow again.
Reinstalled MSSW again but the same BS. My disckeeper
couldn't defrag it(Ifound it and it's name by running the
norton defrag which names the fragged files).I deleted it
permanently. Let's face it,other spyware programs are far
more efficient,spysweeper,adaware,spybot,spyblaster etc

I'd recommend uninstalling (which I guess you've done!) and testing further
when another build is released, if possible.
