I just installed the update and I cannot get past setting up the database . I
keep getting this error as below :

business contact manager for outlook could not complete your last action or
actions . Please try again !!!

Is there an installation manual for BCm , should the patches be applied in a
particular way ? Should it be installed on the server as well as the work
stations particularly if you are working with a central database .

I am having the same proplem. I am installing BCM v1 first on an exchange
environment, by deleting my email account and then installing. It gets to
the poitn when it asks to create a database and then it goes in to the
finsihing process and then it keeps crashing and restarting. How can I get
this to work. Is there a procedure or order I should do this.

Hi Michael,
Having just completed banging my head against a brick wall for the
past 2 weeks on this issue, I think I've found the answer. If you've
been looking online through here and Microsoft's site, the best you
probably found were suggestions to delete the forms cache, get rid of
outcmd and extend.dat. or to make sure that BCM wasn't a disabled item
in Outlook. Well, after reading all of their suggested fixes I decided
to go ahead and remove the whole profile. Worked like a charm. Please
note that I am working with the following at my customer's site:

SBS2003
Outlook 2003 w/ BCM V2 update

This worked for me (and quickly)under my circumstances so you may want
to try in a test environment first (if possible). For the environment I
am working in, it has done the trick beautifully. If you are running on
standalone boxes doig POP, please BACK UP YOUR PST!!!! Once you remove
your profile, you remove all access to your pst so please export before
doing this. If you're connecting to an Exchange server, you should have
no problems.

When you removed the profile, did you not have to add one to start outlook.
When I added the profile for my exchange server after installing v2 it
crashes.
