Errors During Setup

I am having to install my XP on a reformatted (zeroed out) hard drive. I
downloaded the correct XP Setup Boot Disk set and began the installation
process. All 6 Boot Disks installed without a hitch. When prompted I
inserted my Windows XP Home Edition CD and the file copying began. About two
thirds of the way through, there were 3 .dll files, and 1 .exe file that the
Setup program said it could not copy. These are the files:
o1e32.dll
offilt.dll
openg132.dll
packager.exe

After the installation finished without the files, the system tried to
reboot to the normal XP startup, then stopped with the following message:

winlogon.exe - Unable to locate component. This application has failed to
start because o1e32.dll was not found.

As a result, my computer is now stuck in a cycle of it trying to reboot
itself over and over (evidently looking for the missing files).

I have no idea of what to do from this point to get XP to work at all?

I did a reinstall a couple days ago..to get a "clean hard drive" Same
situation as you..but my error message was "Setup cannot copy the file
cmd.exe, continue install program may not work properly..."

I tried and retried and got the same error. A few tries a later I just hit
continue setup and the install completed. So far XP Pro is running fine..and
a lot faster!!!
