Error101

Critical error upon installation. It simply says that a critical error
has occurred and no mater how many times i uninstall or reinstall it
keep shappening, it wasorking, it doesn't anymore. Any suggestions?
Please help.

Same issue here, just like a lot of others.

Neither MS or user workarounds (from here and around the
globe) solve the issue for me.
I am running XP Pro SP2.
Previous MAS beta release worked fine and still does when
I re-install. Only problem is that it expires very soon...

Please install the latest build (614) which expires in December 2005 and let
me know if this is working for you. You can get the latest build at
www.microsoft.com/spyware.

I was already talking about build 614.

To be sure I downloaded MAS again, installed and guess
what? Still no go!

.remove antispyware with add@remove go to microsoft
download center,download the antispyware beta,now run it
once from desktop to get error 101,now do this go to
c:\WINDOWS FOLDER,OPEN FOLDER AND FIND DOWNLOADED
INSTALLATION FOLDER AND THERE IS THE ANTISPWARE
DOWNLOAD,AND ITS THE WINDOWS PACKAGE INSTALLER FOR
MICROSOFT ANTISPYWAREmsi.run the program there and it
will work,i have installed twice this way and for some
strange reason it will install flawlessly that way,give
that a try and let me know if it works.best regards roy

if it does the job?
