Actually I have the same problem so if you don't mind I'll
continue under the same headline.
When I'm playing .mpg movies, my Media Player cannot play
the files anymore saying "Error# C00D11CD"
I've been able to play the files before, but after I
installled a codec filter it doesn't work anymore. Besides
that, the Media Player can't show the video on .avi files
anymore. The sound works but not the picture.
I have tried to restore the W Media Player by downloading
updates and even downloaded the newest Player (9 series),
but in vain. My player won't open the files (.mpg) it could
open before I installed the additional codecs.
This question in the newsgroup was the same problem as I

According to GSpot MPEG1 is located in a .dll file called
quartz.dll in the System32 map.
I don't have that file, and I don't know where to find it.
Do you have any ideas of how I should do?
Thanx a lot!
