error

Hi
I downloaded a digital sound recorder program and when I open it I ge this
message Acess violation at address 004f8f41 in module
digitalsoundrecorder.exe read of address 000000b4 does this have anything to
do with my sound card and also can I download a second sound card I am using
Conexant high definition audio and I have a Hp pavilion dv 6000 please help

Apparently you have a hardware issue :

You can't download a soundcard - its hardware, not software. You could
download the latest drivers from the HP site.

You could also disable your laptop's onboard sound and then buy a USB or
Firewire sound card/module.

Or, if you say what you want the software to do, we could advise you on
another, maybe.

I would like the software for recording with mic and all the sources that
goes with it cause the one I downloaded has only 3 sources tried a couple of
the programs and they are all the same so if you can help me I would
appreciate it
