Generated a report using 'design wizard'. The report reference one of our
tables only. When the field references one of the fields in the table things
are ok BUT when I change the reference to '=trim([field name])' I get the
#error in the report for that field. We have been here before because we
have reports that do the trim thing but don't remember what the fix is.
Anyone got any ideas? TIA

The name of a control cannot be the same as the name of a field in
it's controls source expression. Once you add =Trim() to the control
source you have created an expression.

Change the name of the control to something else, i.e. txtFieldName.

I forget so soon Tnx.
