I am having an issue with PowerPoint. I have org charts
and just intalled windows 2000. When I go to access my
org sharts I get the following error:
ox77fcc97c reference memory error at oxfffffff8.
Reinstall the software. I reinstalled and still get the
same error. Any ideas of what can be causing this
problem. Thanks

Thank you . I am running Office 2000 sp1 with all the
current updates from the web site. I am going to try some
of the fixes from those websites you gave me and will let
you know what happens. For sure I only have about 100
fonts. HUMMMMMMM

Which version of PPT is this? Usually we'd see an out of memory error
with too many fonts installed, but the error you're seeing seems
different than that.

Here are some things to try, anyway:

Just checking: 100 fonts as in Arial, one, Times-New-Roman, two or
100 fonts as in Arial, one, Arial-Bold, two

and so on?

It's the second one that matters. It's the number of font files, not font
families that counts.
