Error with Compatibility Mode

We are facing the following issue: We are uploading PowerPoint 2007 slides to
a SharePoint Slide Library. When we try to open the slides for "Edit in
Microsoft PowerPoint", the slides open in Compatibility Mode. We want to know
how we can get them to open in PowerPoint 2007 Mode. Is there some setting in
the Document Library that we need to alter to resolve this?

I have the same problem. And when I open a 2003 PPT in this compatibility
mode, it won't print.
