Error while Compacting

I'm getting an error message while trying to compact a
database. The error is:Record(s) can't be read; no read
permission on (path name). The help indicated it was a
table or query. I can not find anything that indicates
this is a read only table. Any ideas?? Thanks!!

Sign of corruption. You could try importing. For more details see
the Access Corruption FAQ at my website.
